"After a lifetime of spider fears and a realisation that I was now passing my fears to my son, I finally felt it was time to seek help. "Just wanted to write and let you know that I had my dental appointment this afternoon and it went amazingly well! Despite a few nerves and wobbles leading up to the appointment (I still had thoughts of cancelling which I had to push aside!) I was in the chair for an hour and got through it. The dentist was very happy and seemed quite relieved (although not nearly as relieved as I was!). The processes you gave me to help me through were excellent – I took control when I went in as we discussed and told the dentist that I was focused solely on a successful outcome and wanted to get straight on with it. Thank you so much for helping me feel like my self again. I was caught in a cycle of frustration, getting angry and drinking too much.
